Fully Welded Reduced Bore Ball Valve Q367F-16C

Square-body forged, not cast. The Q235 body starts as a solid billet, forged into a rectangular block, then machined into the valve envelope — no casting porosity, no weld seams across the pressure boundary. Trunnion-mounted 304 ball locked by upper and lower 20Cr13 stems, spring-loaded seats backed by A105 support rings hold contact regardless of line pressure direction. 304+graphite spiral-wound gasket and flexible graphite stem packing — the primary seal path uses zero elastomers. Designed to GB/T30818, PN16 with shell tested to 2.4 MPa and seat tested to 1.8 MPa, rated -38°C to 200°C on water, steam, and oil. DN600–DN1000, transmission-class — stays open for months, closes once without question.

Core Features & Advantages

1. Square-Body Forged, Not Cast The Q235 body starts as a solid billet, forged into a rectangular block, then machined into the valve envelope. No casting porosity, no dendritic grain structure, no hidden shrinkage cavities — forged density from surface to core. The final body has zero weld seams in the pressure boundary.

2. Trunnion-Mounted 304 Ball, Spring-Loaded Seats 304 stainless ball locked by upper and lower 20Cr13 stems — the ball stays fixed regardless of line pressure. Spring-loaded seats backed by A105 support rings maintain constant contact force in both directions, so the valve seals at zero differential and stays tight after months in the open position.

3. Zero Elastomers in the Primary Seal 304+graphite spiral-wound body gasket. Flexible graphite stem packing. Fluororubber O-rings are secondary seals only — the primary leak path relies on graphite and metal, not rubber. Rated to 200°C with no polymer degradation in the critical sealing elements.

4. -38°C to 200°C, No Compromise C+PTFE seats, graphite packing, and metal gaskets handle cryogenic-start pipelines and low-pressure steam on the same valve. No dual inventory for seasonal swings, no temperature-derated variants — one part number covers the full thermal envelope.

5. DN600–DN1000, One Forged Platform Five sizes, same forged-body process, same trunnion geometry, same seat and seal family. One spare parts philosophy, one maintenance procedure — from 600 mm to 1000 mm, the only thing that changes is the scale.

Applications

  • District heating transmission pipelines
  • Long-distance water transfer mains
  • Crude oil and refined product trunk lines
  • Natural gas transmission block valve stations
  • Pump station suction and discharge headers
  • Thermal power plant cooling water intake
  • Steam main-line sectionalizing
  • Buried pipeline pigging sections — full access, no obstruction

Why Choose Fully Welded Reduced Bore Ball Valve Q367F-16C?

1. Forged From a Solid Block Square-body forging — not a casting, not a weldment. The Q235 billet is forged into a rectangular block, then machined. No porosity to chase, no casting repair welds, no hidden defects waiting for hydrotest to reveal them. Forged grain flow follows the body contour — stronger, denser, predictable.

2. Trunnion Ball Seals After Months of Sitting Open Upper and lower stems lock the 304 ball in place. Spring-loaded seats with A105 support rings maintain contact force regardless of whether the line has pressure or not. Zero differential, full differential, flow from either direction — the seats don’t lose contact, so the valve doesn’t lose its seal after long idle periods.

3. Graphite Where It Matters 304+graphite spiral-wound gasket on the body. Flexible graphite packing on the stem. Fluororubber O-rings are secondary only. When the line runs at 200°C, the primary sealing elements don’t degrade — no polymer creep, no thermal set, no leak path that grows with temperature.

4. -38°C to 200°C, One Part Number The same C+PTFE seats, graphite packing, and metal gaskets handle a cold Siberian startup and a low-pressure steam cycle on the same valve. No summer valve and winter valve — one specification, one spare parts list, one set of maintenance procedures.

5. Transmission-Class Scale, One Forged Platform DN600 through DN1000 — five sizes, same forging process, same trunnion geometry, same seal family. One spare parts philosophy from 600 to 1000 mm. The only variable is the size of the billet.

A forged-body transmission valve that doesn’t need casting repair procedures in its quality plan — because there are no castings to repair.
